Dr. Gang Li

Is presently working as a Professor and Director of AI Analytics, Deakin Cyber Research and Innovation Centre, Deakin University, Australia. His research interests are in the area of artificial intelligence, data privacy, machine learning, and business intelligence. He serves on the IEEE Data Mining and Big Data Analytics Technical Committee (2017-2018 Vice Chair), and IEEE Enterprise Information Systems Technical Committee, IEEE Enterprise Architecture and Engineering Technical Committee, and serves as chair for IEEE Task force on Educational Data Mining (2020-2023 Chair). He is the editor for Springer’s CCIS series, and he acts as an associate editor/editorial board members for Cyber Security, IT&T, Decision Support Systems (Elsevier), IEEE Access (IEEE), Journal of Travel Research (Sage), Tourism Management (Elsevier), Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research, and Information Discovery & Delivery (Emerald), and Human-Centric Computing and Information Sciences (Springer) etc. He has been the guest editor for ACM Transactions on PGM, IEEE Access, the Chinese Journal of Computer, Journal of Networks, Future Generation Computer Systems (Elsevier), Concurrency and Computation: Practise and Experience (Wiley) and Enterprise Information Systems (Taylor&Francis)

Dr. Lalit Garg

Is an Information Technology innovator, academician, learner, teacher, developer, keynote speaker, Consultant, and researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry and an excellent research publication record. He is skilled in solving complex problems using machine learning, and data analytics, especially in the medicine and healthcare domain. He is an Associate Professor in Computer Information Systems at the University of Malta, Msida, Malta and an honorary lecturer at the University of Liverpool, UK. He has also worked as a researcher at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and the University of Ulster, UK. He has supervised more than 180 Masters’ dissertations, guided 5 PhD theses, and shaped the future of many other students. He has published over 150 technical papers in refereed high-impact journals, conferences and books, and some of his articles have been awarded best paper awards. He has delivered more than 20 keynote speeches in different countries, organised/chaired/co-chaired many international conferences and contributed as a technical committee member or a reviewer of several high-impact journals and reputed conferences. He participates in many EU and locally funded projects, including a one million euro Erasmus+ Capacity-Building project in Higher Education (CBHE), titled Training for Medical education via innovative eTechnology (MediTec) and Malta Council of science and technology’s Space Research Funds. The University of Malta has awarded him the 2021-22 Research Excellence Award for exploring Novel Intelligent Computing Methods for healthcare requirements forecasting, allocation and management (NICE-Healthcare). He was awarded a research studentship in Healthcare Modelling to carry out his PhD research studies in the faculty of computing and engineering at the University of Ulster, UK and his PhD research was nominated for the Operational Research Society Doctoral Prize “Most Distinguished Body of Research leading to the Award of a Doctorate in the field of OR”. He completed his Post Graduate in Information Technology from ABV-IIITM, Gwalior, India and his first degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, India. He has consulted numerous public and private organisations for their information system implementations.

Dr. Jaume Anguera

IEEE Fellow, is co-founder and CTO of the technology company Ignion (Barcelona, Spain) and Associate Professor at Ramon LLull University and member of the Remote-IoT research group. Inventor of more than 150 granted patents, most of them licensed to telecommunication companies. Among his most outstanding contributions is that of inventor of Antenna Booster Technology, a technology that fostered the creation of Ignion. Many of these products have been adopted by the wireless industry worldwide, to allow wireless connectivity through a miniature component called an antenna booster. Author of more than 250 scientific papers and international conferences (h-index 50). Author of 7 books. He has participated as principal researcher in more than 22 research projects financed by the Spanish Ministry, CDTI, CIDEM, and the European Commission for an amount exceeding 7M$. He is presently associate editor of the IEEE Open Journal on Antennas and Propagation and vice-chair of the working group “Software and Modeling” at EurAAP.
