Title of the Talk :
Augmented Intelligence in Healthcare
Abstract of Talk:
Healthcare is entering a new phase where augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and sensor-rich wearables are beginning to work together in ways that fundamentally change how clinicians diagnose and treat patients. This keynote explores how smart glasses, multimodal biosignal streams, and real-time machine learning can support clinicians with guidance, visualization, and decision insights at the exact moment of care. Drawing on hands-on experience building sensor analytics systems and deploying medical AI models such as mammography classifiers, the session examines how AR overlays can streamline procedures, how edge AI can reduce latency, and how multimodal fusion can strengthen diagnostic accuracy. At the same time, it addresses the practical challenges of integrating these technologies into real clinical workflows, including reliability, usability, data trust, and patient safety. Through technical insights, real-world examples, and a grounded look at where current systems succeed and fail, this talk provides a realistic roadmap for engineers, clinicians, and innovators who want to understand how augmented intelligence can become a natural part of everyday healthcare practice.
